Purvi Vora
Co-Founder
Purvi has a PhD in science education from Teachers College Columbia University, NYC. She has worked in the education sector for close to two decades.
She started her career teaching science and media literacy in an inner city school in Manhattan. She moved to India in 2007 and joined The Akanksha Foundation as a school leader for a charter school in Mumbai. She later worked at the American School of Bombay as the Community and Social responsibility coordinator, supporting K-12 teachers at the school in implementing service projects. She also taught science in 7th grade at the school.
With her business partner, Sangita kapadia, Purvi set up Reniscience Education LLP a boutique education consulting firm and think tank born out of a desire to promote learning that is empowering, joyful and relevant to the 21st century learner.

Sangita Kapadia
Co-Founder
Sangita is a passionate, veteran science teacher, having taught the subject from elementary to high school for more than 20 years. She has a M.Sc. in organic chemistry and a B.Ed degree. She was co-founder of an NGO that educates underprivileged children in Mumbai.
Sangita’s expertise is in experiential learning and bringing teaching and learning outside the four walls of the classroom. She herself has mentored close to 20 CaL projects and her students have qualified for the CaL conference every single year they participated. Sangita also runs a course that prepares students to take the National Science Olympiad exam every year.
With her partner, Purvi, she has facilitated teacher professional development programs in almost 40 schools across India on teaching and learning science.

Suzie Boss
Board Member
Suzie Boss is a writer and educational consultant from the United States who works with schools and organizations around the world interested in shifting to more student-centered, innovative approaches to teaching and learning. She is the author of 10 popular books for educators, most recently Project Based Teaching and Reinventing Project-Based Learning, 3rd Ed. She is a longtime contributor to PBLWorks and Edutopia, and a frequent conference presenter.
