Phase 2 Checklist
Phase 2: Students submit the following for Phase 2 of their Story Project
Due Date: September 15th 2026

- Students will submit ANY ONE of their three stories.
- The selected story must be written as a complete FIRST-PERSON NARRATIVE.
- Students should refer to the exemplar stories in the Theme Document.
The final story should:

- Be emotionally powerful and historically grounded
- Use strong sensory details and voice
- Keep the artefact central to the narrative
- Be between 250–400 words
Students must also submit:

- A photograph of the protagonist with the artefact
- Proper citations for all secondary research used
At the end of the project:
Students should complete this format separately for all three stories along with the photographs.
The purpose of submitting one story in phase 2 is to ensure you are on the right track and receive feedback.
