To introduce students to the Sustainable Development Goals and the Maker
Ideation and Problem Identification
To help students generate ideas for their Maker Projects based on real-world issues related to the Sustainable Development Goal Number 11 and select one problem they agree to work on as a group.
Setting the Problem in the Context of Your City
To conduct secondary research to eventually write the rationale for selecting the problem and proposed solution for your project.
Writing the Phase 1 Document
To complete the phase 1 document to submit to CaL.
Writing a Rationale
Students write a rationale for their project.
Students learn how to write citations for their references.
Review Cal Feedback
In this session students will review the feedback given by CaL. If they have got the green signal to proceed, they can move to the next session.
Sketching and Planning
To help students develop their ideas into a concrete plan for their Maker Projects.
Writing the Phase 2 Document
To complete the Phase 2 document, incorporating the testing plan and additional details required for the project.
