- Copies of the graphic organizer provided below
- Resources (Students):
- CaL NoteBook
- Pencil/Pen
- Blackboard + Chalk
- Time: 2 Periods (45 min)
- Plan:
Step 1: Students sit in their CaL groups. Return their graphic organizers from last time as well as your feedback on the same. Give students 15 minutes to review their feedback, clarify their doubts and discuss what they need to revise in the methods section.
Step 2: Groups that need to do major revisions like select a completely new method or select more than one method will work on that for the rest of the time. They may not move ahead until you approve their methods.
Step 3: Students whose methods have been approved or who only need to make minor revisions may begin building their actual data collection tool i.e., the interview questions, survey, observation sheet. They should use the provided graphic organizer to create the tool.
Step 4: All groups should have their methods approved and tools built by the end of two periods.
TEACHERS PLEASE NOTE:
Please send the RQ, data collection method, two reasons for selecting the specific data collection methods AND the data collection tool to the CaL team for approval by Saturday., September 28th 2019.
Please DO NOT begin data collection until you have received feedback from the CaL team. In the meanwhile, you may begin writing the paper.
